Who is responsible

Daniel Benjamin D’silva trading as VXVO, 55 St George’s Avenue, Westhoughton, Bolton BL5 2EU, is the controller for personal information collected through this shop. For privacy questions or rights requests, email daniel@vxvo.co.uk.

Information we collect

  • Your name, contact, billing and delivery details.
  • Order, payment-status, delivery, refund and customer-service records.
  • Messages and product-selection questions you send us.
  • Security and service logs needed to keep the shop reliable.
  • Anonymous page-view, referrer, device and performance information used in aggregate to understand and improve the shop.
  • Marketing preferences if you actively choose to hear from us.

How and why we use it

  • To take steps at your request and perform the customer contract, including payment, delivery, returns and support.
  • To meet accounting, tax, product-safety and other legal duties.
  • For legitimate interests such as preventing fraud, securing the service, measuring site performance and improving operations, where those interests do not override your rights.
  • With consent where the law requires it, including optional direct marketing.

Who receives it

We share only what is necessary with service providers involved in an order or in running the shop. These may include Square for checkout and payment, Royal Mail or another selected carrier for delivery, Zoho for business email, and Vercel for website hosting, anonymous web analytics, performance measurement and security. We do not sell personal information. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored in this shop.

Where a provider processes information outside the United Kingdom, we require an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and proportionate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records are normally kept for up to six years where needed for tax, accounting or legal claims. Routine support messages are normally kept for up to two years. Security logs are kept only for a proportionate period. Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or the purpose ends; we may retain a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, or withdraw consent. Email daniel@vxvo.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
